On behalf BMSCE-AAA it is my honor and privilege to welcome you to the BMSCE-AAA web site. First let me wish the class of 2011 graduates all success and happiness. I also would like to express my deep appreciation to the Executive Committee and all the alumni who have supported our activities enthusiastically and tirelessly.

Looking back at our 14 years of our service and performance I am proud to report we have been steady and consistent in our efforts to build up the organization and increase our financial capacity to help more students. If all of our thousands of our college alumni can join us and become current members and take the same attitude “Give back something to the Institution that gave us all our current standing in our occupation and society” we can make history.

The past year’s success story for the association has been the formation of “BMS College of engineering American Alumni Trust” in Bangalore. This Trust has an initial corpus fund in excess of Rs. Twenty Seven lakhs and is invested

in interest bearing CDs. All our scholarship awards come from this interest.  The Trust can receive additional donations from alumni in India.  This is a permanent legacy we are leaving behind us for the benefit of future needy students our BMSCE. I call upon especially the scholarship recipients to remember the next generation of students and make that commitment to help and become donors to the Alumni Trust.-Pass it on!

Year 2010 scholarship award ceremonies will be held on December 7th and as in the past we also plan to honor a distinguished alumnus. Hope to see you all there.

We all take the liberty in offering our observations and changes we wish to see in the college. As Mahatma Gandhi said “Be the change you want to see in the world” As graduates we all should become the kind of involved and be a supportive alumni to see things happen the way we want it to be.
